When moving from homelessness into a new home, families can often end up living in a nearly empty house. This community outreach ministry provides gently-used, donated furniture to recently relocated homeless families and individuals in the Baltimore and Baltimore County areas

Items we accept for donation include:

Dressers, dining room tables and chairs, sofas, coffee tables, end tables, chairs/recliners, nightstands, lamps, rugs, small appliances in working order (toaster, microwave, vacuum cleaner, fan, etc.), housewares (dishes, cookware, eating and cooking utensils, cups, glasses, etc.), and clean linens and bedding (towels, washcloths, sheets, blankets, and comforters).

Donated items must be “gently used” or in good enough condition that you would feel comfortable giving to a friend or family member that you will see again. Rugs and upholstered furniture MUST come from smoke and pet free households.

Our ministry works directly with referring social service agencies. Please have your social worker or case worker complete the Client Authorization Form and return the completed form to the church office. The form can be submitted online using the submit button at the bottom or downloaded, scanned, and emailed to the office (office@campchapel.org).
