Our Pillow Ministry volunteers have supplied heart-shaped pillows since December, 2000, to patients recovering from heart surgeries at Union Memorial Hospital and lung and thoracic surgeries at Franklin Square Hospital. We extended our project to making rectangular-shaped TLC pillows to help patients at Franklin Square Hospital who were healing from abdominal and cesarean section surgeries.

To date, we have touched over 20,000 patients with our pillows! This simple act of kindness has brought joy to people recovering from invasive surgeries while helping to ease their pain and we believe our pillows spread God’s love in a caring, practical way.
