The goal of our Children’s Ministry is to provide activities and events to children and youth from our congregation as well as the surrounding community. We pride ourselves on offering monthly events designed to entertain children of all ages in an atmosphere of faith and fellowship.

Events include: pumpkin painting, family bingo, movie nights, and a variety of entertainers such as puppeteers, balloon makers, and comedians, just to name a few. All events are offered at no cost with the exception of our annual community carnival which is held in early August.

In order to accommodate all families, the cost for this event is minimal.  Proceeds benefit various community needs.

Camp Chapel connects with local schools and the Eastern Family Resource Center to purchase clothing and toys for children at Christmas.

Individual gift tags listing gifts are placed on church bulletin boards.  Church members take a gift tag, purchase the gift listed on it and return the gift and tag.  The Circle of Sisters Bible study group wraps the gifts and distributes to area locations.

The youth and children of Camp Chapel participate annually in the Children’s Ministry Project. This project seeks out local organizations that need our help. For example, in the fourth year of this ministry we supported mothers and babies from the Women’s Care Center, a local community organization.

The children did an outstanding job of decorating bags and bibs and packing helpful supplies donated by our church members. We were able to pack over 20 individual bags to share with the families at the center.

Each year Camp Chapel provides children at the Eastern Regional Resource center with clothing, back-packs, and school supplies so they are well equipped to learn and succeed in the new school year.
